I am not a baker. I don’t hide the fact. I don’t try to be something I’m not. It’s just not my thing. Can I do it? Sure, to a point. I just don’t enjoy it as much as I do other cooking.
So, when my husband came home from work and there were fresh-from-the-oven, homemade biscuits on the table, I guess I shouln’t be insulted with his reaction of “You made these?!”
Yes, honey I did. Don’t act so shocked! Now, these are my type of biscuits. No rolling. No shaping. Just mixing, pouring, baking, done.
These Butter Dip Biscuits are perfect with some butter and jam, and I can’t wait to serve them with some sausage gravy on top!
Be sure to read the cook’s notes for a few tips, but don’t sweat it. If I can make these, let’s face it, anyone can!
